During this sessions, participants will explore the experiences of people with disabilities. We will also consider the importance of language and what each of us can do to be more inclusive.

About the Presenter:

Sheila Simpson has worked for many years within the not for profit world and has spent a considerable amount of that time in the developmental services sector. She is currently involved in a project that will attempt to bring down some of the barriers for people with developmental disabilities to have meaningful employment and/or volunteer opportunities. Sheila may be joined by some individuals who will share their lived experiences.
