Wanda
I moved in to Alice Saddy Association housing in 1980 where I learned how to do budgeting, cleaning , grocery shopping, laundry and how to be on my own. I have been on my own since 1982.
I am on the Alice Saddy board of directors where I am on the executive as secretary of the board and am also a life time member of the Association.
At Alice Saddy, I help with the monthly calendar of the Grosvenor Community Room (GCR) and I also co-chair the steering committee meeting at the GCR.
I also volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society and the London Fringe.
I help to make muffins at Collective Kitchen as well as do volunteer work at Talbot Street church.
I got a regular high school diploma at Fanshawe College in 1992.
Alice Saddy has the best staff in the world and are there for you whenever you need their help. Alice Saddy has been the greatest thing to ever happen to me.
